We're looking for a Software Engineer who's enthusiastic to apply their skills in a fast-paced environment. In this role, you'll work closely with a tight-knit team and deliver solutions that make an immediate impact. What We're Looking For:
* A technical expert with experience taking responsibility for complex systems or for delivering on complex projects
* Strong technical skills: Primarily we're looking for expertise in Java. Experience in areas like JavaScript frameworks (eg. Express, Angular), databases (eg. PostgreSQL, MySQL, Mongo), and networking (TCP/IP) are a plus
* Hands-on proficiency in Unix/Linux/MacOS environments and command line tools (eg. Bash)
* A passion for science and engineering, for problem solving and for pushing the boundaries of what's possible
* Good attention to detail, communication, analytical and debugging skills
* An ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
* Experience with multiple programming languages
* Familiarity with UI/UX design and debugging tools like VSCode, Emacs, or Vi
* Knowledge of network routing, firewalls, or port forwarding is a bonus
* Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related/equivalent field
