As such, we are seeking applications from suitably experienced Team Members to commence on Day shift as an Accessory Fitter (6am starts)! $36.32ph. Secure your future! As an Accessory Team Member, your role will involve working in a dynamic team, operating within tight timelines to ensure vehicle fitting quality, productivity and delivery targets are met. You will be primarily carrying out accessory fitting works but expected to provide support to the quality control team when required. The role offers the chance to secure a long-term contract with all the benefits of a permanent role. AM SHIFT: Currently available for an ASAP start - 6:00am-2:30pm As the successful candidate, you will be responsible for: Fitting a range of genuine parts and accessories to new Toyota and Lexus vehicles in accordance with manufacturer specifications Following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), line cards and fitting instructions to ensure accuracy and consistency Using workshop tools and equipment safely and effectively Conducting quality checks to ensure all installations meet required standards Performing daily start-up equipment and tool checks Supporting quality inspection activities where required Skills & Attributes required for the role: A genuine interest/love of working on passenger motor vehicles Great mechanical aptitude, ideally with solid experience in fitting automotive accessories Proven experience in vehicle mechanical, electrical and body repairs in either a high-volume Manufacturing or Dealership workshop environment Proficient with vehicle diagnostics software and equipment essential Able to understand and follow vehicle repair manuals, fitting instructions and standard work Demonstrated ability to efficiently trouble-shoot and diagnose issues Competent in using smart devices (e.g., tablet), hand and measuring tools essential Possess high level of attention to detail and pride in their work Must hold a valid Drivers Licence and able to operate manual transmission vehicles The successful candidate must also: Successfully complete a criminal history check and medical assessment, and Have a solid, verifiable work history and be able to provide two recent, verifiable work references (Manager level) There is only one position, so don't miss your chance!
