You will join a small Federal Government agency that plays a key role in enhancing transparency and accountability within Australia's democratic processes. The team is part of a broader transformation program focused on modernising regulatory capabilities through innovative technology and streamlined systems.
Your new role
As a ServiceNow Developer, you'll be embedded within the Technology Delivery team, contributing to the design, development, and enhancement of ServiceNow applications and integrations. In this team, you'll work closely with business analysts, service designers, and user researchers to turn business needs into working solutions. You'll be hands-on with scripting, configuration, and customisation, while also mentoring junior developers and staying with the latest ServiceNow features.
You'll operate in an agile environment, contribute to technical documentation, and play a key role in ensuring system stability and performance through proactive maintenance and upgrades.
What you'll need to succeed
You'll bring strong experience in developing and maintaining ServiceNow applications, along with certifications such as ServiceNow CSA and Implementation Specialist credentials.
Your ability to translate technical concepts into plain English, collaborate with stakeholders, and apply Microsoft development tools (Office 365, SharePoint, Azure DevOps) will be key.
Minimum Australian Citizen | NV1 clearance eligibility is required.
What you'll get in return
This is a long-term contract running until 30 June 2026, with potential extensions. You'll work onsite in Canberra, contributing to a nationally significant program in a supportive and forward-thinking team.
