Develop and implement content strategies and host on-air programs for Charles Darwin University's radio station, Territory FM.
About the Position
As a Content and Programming Officer, you will be responsible for managing, planning, and executing content strategies across broadcast platforms, ensuring that programming aligns with audience needs and the wider objectives of Territory FM. Reporting into the Station Manager, you will curate and schedule content, coordinate with on-air and production teams, analyse performance metrics to optimise programming decisions and will also be required to host on-air programs.
About You
To be successful, you will require:
* Education, training and/or extensive relevant experience equivalent to completion of a degree in communications, marketing, media, information system or relevant area.
* Demonstrated experience supporting radio station operations, content creation and broadcasting.
* Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated capacity to relate to and interact with a wide range of internal and external clients to maintain and enhance Territory FMs reputation.
* Experience in the use of information systems, including Zetta (playout), G-selector (music database), Audition (production), wheat stone on air systems and website applications - relevant to the broadcast industry and TFM
* Demonstrated knowledge of radio announcing and audio production, and the ability to produce on-air content, social podcasts and recorded assets.
* Sound professional judgment in determining content, news and information appropriate for Territory FM broadcasting.
* Sound knowledge of community radio codes of practice
Remuneration
Appointment to this role will be at Professional Level 7. The base salary will be in the range of $93,475 to $102,606 per annum. The total remuneration package will be in the range of $109,365 to $120,049 per annum, including 17% superannuation.
