Child Protection Specialist
As a Child Protection Specialist, you will work in a statutory environment to deliver vital services through a care team approach. You will engage with children, young people, and families to promote their safety, stability, and development while strengthening their support network.
Key Responsibilities:
* Investigate and Assess: Receive and assess notifications of children at risk of harm from abuse or neglect.
* Case Management: Provide quality, timely, and effective intervention and case management services.
* Legal Interventions: Prepare and present information for court processes and make recommendations in the best interests of the child.
* Collaborate: Work with families, children, and other professionals to resolve issues and promote safety, stability, and development.
* Support and Guide: Engage with children and families to strengthen family capacity and monitor outcomes.
