Huge potential for career growth
Own the critical pre-construction phase
Local decisions, close-knit team
This is a role where your experience genuinely matters, and your input is acted on.
You'll join a proudly Hunter-based builder thriving in the booming modular construction market, working alongside a driven, success-focused team.
Here, you won't just shape project outcomes.
You'll have the chance to stretch your skills, broaden your expertise, and build a career that grows as the business and market continue to expand.
If you're looking for stability, real influence, and a role that develops with you, this is an opportunity worth exploring.
Every successful build starts long before construction begins.
Where pricing decisions, assumptions and margins quietly determine how well a project will perform months later.
We are looking for a Project Estimator to take ownership of that space.
You are the person who tightens pricing, challenges assumptions and brings clarity before anything is locked in.
By the time contracts are finalised, the numbers make sense, the risks are understood and the margins are protected.
You will still act as the calm point of escalation when decisions need a second look.
The focus of this role is pricing, cost control and forecasting. You will review BOQs, build contract pricing, and compare actual costs against assumptions so the business continues to sharpen with every project.
Profitability is central to this role. You will track how projects perform against forecasts and use that insight to continually improve pricing accuracy and cost visibility across the business.
About your new employer:
Based in Heatherbrae, Hunter Valley Modular Homes has been operating for over 30 years, specialising in high-quality modular homes designed for smart living, practical builds and a no-nonsense approach.
Decisions are made locally and teams work closely together, ensuring good ideas are acted on quickly.
About you:
This role will suit someone with solid experience in residential estimating, pre-construction or project management who enjoys the commercial side of construction just as much as the technical detail. Someone who prefers shaping outcomes early, rather than managing issues after they leave site.
If you like being the person who quietly makes sure the numbers stack up before anything is signed, this is a role worth a conversation.
