About the role:

We're looking for a proactive and people-focused HR professional to join our dynamic team. As our Assistant Human Resource Officer, you'll be at the heart of delivering high-quality HR support to frontline services that protect and serve our communities. This is your chance to work across a diverse and purpose-driven sector, supporting the SA Country Fire Service, SA Metropolitan Fire Service, SA State Emergency Service, and SA Fire and Emergency Services Commission.Reporting to the Manager, Human Resources, you'll play a pivotal role in providing HR advisory services to the ESS. Your day-to-day will be filled with variety—offering timely, accurate general advice and support on recruitment, contract management, and every facet of the employment lifecycle, from advertising vacancies to seamless onboarding and employee departures. You'll also be the go-to for guidance on a range of HR systems, helping to keep our essential services running smoothly and efficiently.

ASO3 plus 12% superannuation
$67,589 - $72,033
