Occupational Therapist - Delivering Clinically Prioritised Care
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic Allied Health team at Maitland Hospital, delivering clinically prioritised occupational therapy services across the acute inpatient wards. This includes supporting patients in medical, surgical, intensive care, and paediatric units.
About the Role:
* As an integral part of the hospital's multidisciplinary team, you will contribute to the assessment, intervention, and discharge planning processes to promote safe and timely patient transitions from hospital to home or community-based care.
* Working collaboratively with the Site Senior Occupational Therapist and a cohort of OT colleagues at Maitland, you will benefit from the support and guidance of a thorough orientation and onboarding program.

* Demonstrate experience in acute care or hospital-based settings, with knowledge across various clinical areas.
* Develop strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills, especially when working within a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment.

* Occupational Therapist with current Authority to Practice with AHPRA.
