Costa is Australia's leading grower, packer and marketer of fresh produce, and we're looking for an experienced Warehouse Manager to lead our Rocklea operations. About the Role
As our Warehouse Manager, you'll oversee the day‑to‑day operations of our Rocklea warehouse—ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, selection, packaging, loading and dispatch of fresh produce. You'll lead a dedicated team, drive performance, and ensure our Sales Team and customers receive accurate, timely deliveries every day.
This is a hands‑on leadership role suited to someone who enjoys early starts, tight deadlines, and the challenge of keeping a busy warehouse running smoothly.
What You'll Be Doing
* Managing the efficient and cost‑effective flow of stock through the warehouse
* Overseeing receiving, storage, order picking, packing, loading and dispatch
* Supporting the Operations Manager with rosters, planning and daily coordination
* Leading and developing warehouse staff to meet daily, weekly and monthly targets
* Maintaining accurate pallet counts and inventory integrity
* Building strong relationships with suppliers, customers and transport partners
* Driving continuous improvement and space optimisation
* Ensuring seamless operational support for the Sales Team
* Leading by example in Work Health & Safety, food safety and quality compliance
Work Health & Safety Leadership
You'll champion Costa's WHS standards by:
* Ensuring hazards are identified, assessed and controlled
* Supporting safe systems of work and continuous improvement
* Reporting incidents and hazards promptly
* Promoting a culture where safety is everyone's responsibility
Food Safety & Quality
You'll ensure all produce is handled, stored and dispatched in line with Costa's food safety and quality requirements, including hygiene, PPE use and equipment care.
What We're Looking For
Experience & Skills
* Experience in FMCG or logistics operations (fresh produce experience highly regarded)
* Strong leadership and people management skills
* Excellent communication and organisational ability
* Sound computer skills
* A hands‑on approach with the ability to work under pressure
* Strong safety mindset
* Problem‑solving ability and initiative to drive improvements
Qualifications
* Diploma of Logistics (desirable but not essential)

Role Details
* Hours between 2:00am and 11:00am, Monday to Sunday (depending on business needs)
* 38‑hour week plus reasonable additional hours as required
