Job Title
Support the Managing Director/CEO in Executing Events and Corporate Meetings with Excellence
The Event Coordinator will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth execution of corporate events, meetings, and conferences. This involves planning, organising, and executing high-quality events that reflect the company's standards and values.
* Plan, coordinate and execute events that meet the company's expectations for quality and professionalism.
* Organise participant registration to manage attendance efficiently and effectively.
* Negotiate service types and costs within budget parameters.
* Oversee work by contractors and report on variations to work orders to maintain quality control.
* Assist in preparing and managing event budgets to ensure cost-efficiency and adherence to financial guidelines.
* Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Managing Director/CEO, including calendar management, travel arrangements, and handling confidential information.
* Act as the primary point of contact between the Managing Director/CEO and internal/external stakeholders.
* Prepare, proofread, and edit documents, reports, presentations, and correspondence for the Managing Director/CEO.
* Schedule, coordinate, and manage logistics for executive meetings.
Requirements and Qualifications
* A tertiary qualification in Event Management or related field.
* Previous experience in Event Coordination/Planning and Executive Assistant support at CEO level.
* Proficiency in budgeting, cost estimation, and financial management.
* Excellent organisational and time management skills.
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Proficient in MS Office suite including MS Word, MS PowerPoint, and MS Excel.
