- Salary (Level 6 Officer): $110,418 to $117,952 per annum (FTE) plus superannuation 
- Based at Hilton, SA 
- Car parking onsite

What you’ll do 
The City of West Torrens is seeking a dedicated and experienced individual to lead our Community Safety Operational Team on a 15-month contract. 
- Coordinate, supervise and support the operational team in delivering proactive, preventative and legislative responsibilities to ensure high standards of public safety. 
- Provide high-level legislative advice, general advice and clear operational direction to the Community Safety Officers. 
- Lead the team in managing issues related to animal management, fire prevention, parking compliance and local nuisance matters. 
- Promote a positive and safe environment for our community by ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and Council policies.

You are reliable, motivated and committed to delivering high standards of performance and teamwork. You demonstrate strong leadership, coordination and negotiation skills with the ability to foster a collaborative and positive team environment. You are confident in handling and resolving conflict, and you have well-developed verbal and written communication skills. You are flexible, use your initiative, and adapt readily to changing priorities. 
In accordance with the requirements of this role, a Class C Drivers Licence and National Police Clearance (dated within in 6 months of issue) will also be required as part of the recruitment process.
