This pivotal role involves leading the design, implementation, and integration of SCADA and control systems.Responsibilities:Deliver comprehensive control systems engineering across design, implementation and commissioning.Understand and integrate communication protocols and transmission mediums.Ensure seamless operation with PXISE, SEL RTAC within project frameworks.Provide technical direction and mentorship fostering a collaborative and growth orientated team environment.Providing on-going support to our customers.Required:Tertiary qualification in Electrical, Electronics or Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent.Extensive commissioning experience with AVEVA Plant SCADA, Ignition or equivalent.A minimum of 5 years' experience in SCADA and control systems engineering.Background in Design & Construct projects.In-depth knowledge of SCADA architectures, protocols, and control logic.Proficient in PLC programming using IEC61131 languages (ladder logic, structured text, function block).Experience in integrating complex control platforms.Advantageous:Background in the Utilities, Power Generation, Defence and Mining Sectors.Chartered status with Engineers AustraliaandRPEQ/RPEV certifications.Great organisational, time management and decision-making capabilities.Ability to foster constructive working relationships.Collaborative team environment both within and outside of the workplace.Attractive remuneration package paid on a weekly basis, which includes paid overtime with penalties, along with additional project-specific allowances and compensation for work away from home.At RJE, we understand the importance of work-life balance and offer individual flexibility arrangements.We cover travel expenses if you are required to work away from home.Overtime hours can be banked for time off in lieu, allowing for extended paid holidays.You will have access to an extensive benefits and discounts program, offering everyday savings at over 600 retailers.Comprehensive Training and Development programs to enhance and broaden your skill set.
