Remuneration
Annual salary commencing at $71,962, plus up to 14% superannuation.

Responsibilities and Qualifications
* Demonstrated experience operating medium rigid tractors and slashers in various terrain
* Demonstrated physical agility and dexterity to carry out labouring and frequent heavy lifting and bending
* Demonstrated ability to maintain harmony within a team and foster good working relationships with all council employees and members of the public
* Demonstrated ability to work independently under limited supervision
* RIIMO0315A Conduct tractor operations, or willingness to obtain this competency
* Queensland 'MR' Class driver's licence or above that is current and maintained
* Construction Industry White/Blue card
* Operate and maintain medium complexity plant and equipment in a competent and efficient manner to deliver council's work program in accordance with the level of the Award
* Perform labouring tasks in a safe, competent, efficient and timely manner to deliver council's work program to quality standards
* Identify new ways to improve work practices in accordance with council's continuous improvement commitment
* Embracing a mobile technical workforce through the use of technology such as mobile and tablet devices to enhance field operations
* Contribute to the development of procedures in relation to area of work
* Work autonomously, cohesively and collaboratively with other council teams
* Demonstrated experience in construction and maintenance of roads including earthworks, pavements, drainage, stormwater and concreting
* Certificate 3 in civil construction / plant or similar
* Competency RIIWHS302D Implement Traffic Plans (Level 2)
