Job Description

Mondiale VGL is currently hiring for a Key Account Manager to join the team where no two days are the same

We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Key Account Manager to join our dynamic team. As a Key Account Manager, you will act as the primary point of contact between Mondiale VGL and our clients, ensuring the delivery of a seamless, professional service that exceeds customer expectations. You will be responsible for managing client relationships, resolving issues, and identifying growth opportunities within your portfolio. You will work closely with internal teams to meet KPIs and drive client satisfaction while maintaining a strong understanding of the market and industry.

Key Responsibilities

* Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, ensuring regular communication and a high standard of service delivery.
* Manage client escalations and resolve issues promptly to ensure customer satisfaction.
* Monitor and report on customer KPIs, identifying gaps and implementing corrective actions as required.
* Identify opportunities for organic growth and support the implementation of new business initiatives.
* Prepare and deliver regular reports on client KPIs, profitability, and other performance metrics.
* Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to support the smooth onboarding of new clients and maintain accurate Standard Operating Procedures.
* Provide client training and support, including software education and on-site training where necessary.
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimise client supply chains and operational processes.
* Oversee service delivery, ensuring compliance with legislative requirements, timely invoicing, and effective dispute resolution.

Qualifications

Your Expertise

* Strong industry knowledge, including supply chain processes, Incoterms, Australian Customs, and current market trends.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with customers and stakeholders.
* Customer-focused approach with the ability to anticipate needs and deliver proactive solutions.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a positive "can-do" attitude.
* Effective time management skills with the ability to balance multiple tasks, deadlines, and priorities.
* Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with internal teams and other departments.
* Previous experience in key account management or a similar role within logistics, supply chain, or freight forwarding is highly desirable.
