Spotlight is Australia's leading specialty retailer in fabric, craft, party and home decorating, with over 130 stores across Australasia.
We are seeking a Travelling Sales Consultant – Made2Measure Window Furnishings, based in Innaloo and surrounding Perth suburbs.
This role suits a driven, customer-focused sales professional with one-on-one (ideally in-home) sales experience. You will manage hot leads, conduct in-store and in-home consultations, measure and quote, and oversee the process from order to installation. As a floating consultant, you will travel between stores to provide coverage and support.
What you would do:
This role is responsible for working with customers to provide both in-store and in-home advice and service for furnishings, utilising an extensive range of fabrics and window products that are available for demonstration.
As a floating consultant, you would be based out of a home store Innaloo or within surrounding regions but primarily you would be travelling to other stores within your region to provide cover where needed.
How You\'ll Contribute:
* Expertly match our products and services to client\'s needs both in-store and in-home visits
* Measure and quote for the furnishing's requirements of clients
* Manage the end to end process from order through to installation
* Provide high- level client service and follow up in a friendly, professional and timely manner
* Work with the dedicated stores furnishings team to ensure all administrative duties are complete
* Ability to have high level communication with clients and in-store team
About You:
* Selling experience background within either:
* In- home or outside sales, preferably in specialty or custom product/services- highly desirable
* Retail environment - ideally within Home Decor/Furnishings.
* Excellent attention to detail with critical thinking and problem-solving skills
* Self-motivated and driven by sales and results
* Ability to work autonomously with excellent time management skills
* Strong customer and team focus
* Ability to build leads and develop new clients
Requirements for the role:
* Valid and full driver\'s license
* Availability to work full-time five days per week, one being a weekend day and 1 late night within the fortnight
* Proficiency with using a PC/Tablet and with Microsoft Windows based programs
* Ability to meet monthly sales and KPI targets
* High level communication both written and verbal
