The role
Position Overview
We are seeking a talented individual to join our Corporate and Commercial team at Marsh Risk. This is a hybrid role based in Melbourne, requiring a minimum of three days per week in the office. The role is full‐time, permanent and offers an excellent entry‐level opportunity for an aspiring Broker to join a reputable global leader.
Key Responsibilities
- Support Senior and Principal Account Brokers with portfolio management.
- Assist with the development, implementation and management of risk management and insurance programs that accurately address client needs.
- Establish, develop and maintain long‐term relationships with key decision makers.
- Acquire and maintain an awareness of clients' business and insurance needs, noting all briefing information provided by senior servicing and broking managers.
- Identify products that benefit the client and meet their needs.
- Process invoices, policy accounting information, quotations, premium calculations, policy wording, certificates of currency and all other documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
- Negotiate and liaise with clients, underwriters and claims managers.
- Develop and maintain a basic technical understanding of relevant classes of insurance and specialist services offered by the company.

Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in financial services or insurance.
- Tier1 FSRA qualification.
- Knowledge of account management and the insurance industry.
