Salesforce's Public Sector MuleSoft Solution Engineering team is seeking a dedicated and motivated solution engineer to join our team, which plays a key role in driving growth and success in our government and non-profit sectors.

You will be responsible for presenting Salesforce's integration, analytics, and automation solutions to prospects and customers, handling all technical objections during the sales cycle. Through discovery sessions with stakeholders, you will uncover specific business requirements and value drivers, making each project compelling and transformative.

Working with the extended sales team, you will develop differentiated solutions, demonstrate these to customers, and address their questions and concerns. Building impactful relationships, you will strive to become a trusted advisor to your clients.

What you'll achieve:

* Engage with government and non-profit organisations to understand their challenges and goals through discovery sessions and workshops.
* Build and deliver customised product demonstrations.
* Articulate the business value of solutions to managers and executives.
* Collaborate with team members, sharing knowledge and learning.
* Manage multiple customer engagements simultaneously.
* Be self-motivated, flexible, and proactive.
* Occasional travel may be required.


What you'll need to be successful:

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to capture requirements, develop solutions, and articulate business value.
* Strong presentation and storytelling skills.
* Teamwork skills to solve business and technical challenges.
* Experience across various industries, understanding current landscapes, challenges, and opportunities.
* Australian Citizenship is required due to the role's nature.


Preferred Skills:

* Experience in a pre-sales role.
* Federal and/or non-profit industry experience.
* Experience with Integration and Data Solutions, MuleSoft experience preferred.
* Knowledge of analytics and Agentic solutions is advantageous.
* Business analysis and ROI development skills.
