Role Description
This is a full-time position for a Construction Project Manager, predominantly located in our office in Pakenham, VIC. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, coordination, budgeting, and execution of retail and commercial interior projects. Daily tasks will include managing project timelines, coordinating with stakeholders, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and overseeing project teams and subcontractors. The role requires excellent communication, organisational and leadership skills to ensure projects are completed efficiently and within budget.
Our national retail clients have premises located throughout both metropolitan and regional Australia, and as such, availability for interstate travel, a current valid drivers licence and reliable transportation is essential.
Key Characteristics/Qualifications
* Experience managing retail and commercial fit-out projects is essential
* Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
* Excellent organizational and leadership skills
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Proficiency in Project Coordination and Project Management
* Strong understanding of the BCA and NCC
* Strong knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft365 Suite
* Strong understanding of finances
* Relevant certifications in project management or construction management are beneficial
