This is a Recruitment Poolfor suitably qualifiedClinical Midwives covering:

Permanent - Full Time,Permanent - Part Time, Fixed Term - Full Time, and Fixed Term -Part Time appointments, with the possibility of extension(s) and/orpermanency.

The following should benoted:

- Thepanel will monitor this recruitment pool for applications andwill assess on a regular basis.
- Interviews may not beconducted as part of the process however applicants may becontacted to provide additional information.
- Suitableapplicants will be placed in a pool from which appointments maybe made when similar vacancies occur.
- Appointments may be madefrom this pool until 27/02/2026.

PositionOverview: In this pivotal role, you will utilise youradvanced midwifery skills and leadership capabilities to provideoutstanding clinical supervision, ensuring the highest standards ofwoman-centred care across the continuum. Your responsibilities willinclude operational management of the unit, as well as providingadvice and guidance on clinical standards in collaboration withsenior staff.

IdealCandidate:

- Demonstrated advancedclinical knowledge and experience in evidence-based midwiferycare.
- Abilityto function effectively as both a team leader and team memberin a multidisciplinary setting.
- Exceptionalcommunication skills with a strong capability in negotiationand conflict resolution.
- Knowledge of quality andrisk management principles as they apply to clinicalpractice.
- Familiarity withlegislative obligations relevant to healthcare service deliveryin Australia.
- Proficient in usingcomputer systems for reporting and documentationpurposes.

KeyResponsibilities:

- Provideadvanced, evidence-based midwifery care in alignment with theNursing & Midwifery Board of Australia Decision-MakingFramework.
- Lead andsupport a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional,consumer-focused maternity care.
- Maintaina safe environment by overseeing assessment, planning,implementation, and evaluation of care practices.
- Facilitate professionaldevelopment and training opportunities for midwives and nursingstaff to enhance their competencies.
- Activelyengage in quality improvement and research initiatives toelevate the standards of care within the unit.
