Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to join our community as a career developer for pupils. As a teaching assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the academic progress and emotional well-being of our pupils.
Key Responsibilities:
* Mentor and support one pupil or a small group of up to six pupils.
* Support classroom teachers during lessons.
* Report on pupils' progress and concerns, liaising with other staff to meet their needs.
* Supervise pupils during non-classroom time.
* Assist with lesson planning and classroom preparation.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication skills, patience, and understanding. A background in education or a related field is desirable.
Essential Qualifications:
* Degree in Education or a related field.
* Experience working with children and young people.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
