What You'll Be Doing
In this role, you will contribute to the delivery of safe, accurate and efficient radiation therapy services while supporting patients throughout their treatment journey. You will:
* Plan, simulate and deliver radiation therapy treatments in accordance with clinical protocols
* Provide high-quality patient care, education and support before, during and after treatment
* Safely operate and quality-assure radiation therapy equipment and technologies
* Collaborate closely with Radiation Oncologists and the multidisciplinary team
* Participate in quality improvement, education, research and professional development activities

Essential Criteria
* Qualifications: Graduate of a course in Medical Radiation Science-Radiation Therapy, accredited by the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Authority
* Registration: Eligible for AHPRA registration as a Medical Radiation Therapist
* Licence: Eligible for EPA licensure by the Department of Environment and Climate Control NSW
Selection Criteria
* Demonstrate sound knowledge and experience in all aspects of radiation therapy, including Demonstrate excellent communication skills in written, oral and electronic formats
* Demonstrate knowledge and application of radiation therapy quality assurance and quality controls, including radiation safety measures in radiation therapy
* Demonstrated proven ability to work both independently and within a multidisciplinary team
* Demonstrated interest in continuing professional development, research and quality improvement activities
* Demonstrated commitment to excellent patient care
