* SH&W Management System: Lead and maintain the SH&W Management System to ensure compliance with legislative and self-insurance requirements, manage risks effectively, support audit processes, and provide strategic guidance for continuous improvement.
* Strategy: Provide strategic leadership to business units by guiding risk management, developing safety business plans, driving SH&W strategy implementation, leading compliance-focused campaigns, and supporting initiatives that enhance the team member experience.
* Leadership: Lead and influence operational leadership to uphold compliance, manage risks effectively, and foster a strong safety culture throughout the business.
* Reporting: Analyse and report on safety data and trends, delivering clear insights that drive evidence-based continuous improvement across the Retail and Corporate divisions.

What you'll bring

* Proven experience in health and safety leadership within a medium to large commercial enterprise, ideally within a retail environment.
* Extensive technical knowledge of OH&S legislation and standards.
* Demonstrated experience leading teams to identify and manage safety, health, and wellbeing issues, including designing, delivering, and evaluating risk management programs and processes.
* Strong reporting and analytical skills to identify and interpret trends and contributing factors.
* Strong leadership skills and excellent planning and time management abilities.
* Tertiary qualification in OH&S or related discipline (minimum Graduate Diploma), including Lead Auditor and ICAM Incident Investigation training
