About the Role

Starting your leadership journey with ALDI, Duty Managers drive sales, serve customers and supervise team members, all while leading from the front. Your purpose is to ensure the store runs smoothly during your shift – supporting and guiding team members, handling customer inquiries and working collaboratively as part of the store management team. This role hones leadership skills and allows you to truly make a difference for your team and customers.


Responsibilities

* Opening and closing the store and supervising shifts.
* Providing clear, constructive, and inspiring feedback to the team.
* Assisting in training and onboarding of new staff.
* Serving customers at the registers with a smile.
* Keeping shelves stocked so customers can find their favourites.
* Monitoring for incidents or hazards to maintain a safe environment.

* Communicate effectively with colleagues at all levels – teamwork is key.
* Exhibit professionalism, fairness, and responsibility in all interactions.
* Manage workload effectively, even during busy periods.
