The Opportunity
Join a high-performing, niche group finance function within one of Australia's most recognisable organisations. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Senior Financial Accountant or a Finance Manager who enjoys technical depth, cross-functional exposure, and driving high-quality financial outcomes at a group level.
In this role, you will play a key part in the delivery of management reporting and statutory reporting, working within a specialist team operating on an integrated reporting platform. You'll partner closely with multiple business units to support decision-making and ensure accuracy, governance, and compliance.
The Role
Managing group consolidation processes and supporting technical accounting matters
Ensuring accurate treatment of revenue recognition, lease accounting, and acquisition accounting
Reviewing and enhancing internal financial controls and processes
Overseeing monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting cycles
Providing insightful variance analysis and commentary for senior leadership
Leading and supporting audit requirements and ensuring adherence to relevant accounting standards
About You
CA/CPA Qualified
Candidates with a strong external audit foundation (Big 4 preferred) who are ready for their second or third industry move are highly encouraged to apply.
Also well-suited to strong Senior Financial Accountants seeking their next step into a Finance Manager role.
Strong financial control, reporting, and technical accounting capability
Demonstrated capability managing end-to-end reporting
Strong communication skills with the ability to partner and influence senior stakeholders
