About The Opportunity Join our team and play a key role in supporting the operations of the Gin Gin Neighbourhood and Service Centre. This dynamic position involves delivering exceptional customer service, both in person and via phone and email, while undertaking a variety of administrative and operational tasks. You will build strong relationships with staff and the community, ensuring seamless service delivery. Additionally, you will provide administrative support across other Council departments as needed. About You Provision of a satisfactory Criminal History Check – Police Certificate (Australia wide – name only). Demonstrated ability to provide confidential, client-focussed quality administrative support to fulfil the role purpose of the position. Demonstrated ability to work independently or in a team in a professional and positive manner with the ability to be tactful and discrete when dealing with matters of a sensitive nature. Demonstrated ability to work as a team member with the ability to effectively time manage and prioritise tasks, provide administrative and secretarial support ,meet deadlines and workflows using Councils desktop software packages where appropriate. Determine and satisfy individual customer needs, display excellent communication and interpersonal skills and deliver a high standard of service. Assist Coordinators to work with stakeholders to design innovative responses to local issues of concern through community development, community education, service development and advocacy. Provide practical support to programs and projects operated by the Neighbourhood Centres/Service Centres/Community Care Services. Support the establishment of responsive and coordinated services to the community. Ensure that appropriate client records and data on services is maintained.
