About the Role
This position is a pivotal leadership role within the Parts team and plays a crucial part in driving our future success. As a leader, you will build strong relationships with both our internal team and customers, ensuring exceptional service and satisfaction. You'll represent and promote all aspects of our brand with professionalism and integrity, while proactively supporting a positive customer experience.
Responsibilities
* Lead, support, and develop the Parts Team to achieve department goals.
* Oversee daily operations including inventory, sales processing, stock management, and customer service.
* Maintain a safe workplace, meet targets, and ensure accurate stock movements and customer transactions.
* Record all sales and transactions accurately, ensuring correct paperwork and agreed payment terms to reduce financial risk.
* Stay current on industry trends and products, offering guidance to customers, the parts team, and internal stakeholders.
* Coordinate regular stocktakes to ensure all parts are accounted for, correctly stored, and recorded in the system.
* Provide guidance and training to team members to drive efficiency and performance.
* Manage departmental financial performance and ensure warranty processes are compliant.
* Source and supply parts to internal and external customers, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
* Deliver expert service and support to our customers and partners.
* Contribute to a culture of safety, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
* Previous leadership experience in a Parts setting (highly regarded).
* Mechanical or technical knowledge and a sound understanding of parts systems.
* Proven ability to build relationships with customers, colleagues, and management.
* Ability to evaluate and assess operations and respond to changing needs.
* Strong computer skills, including knowledge of stock control packages.
* Strong organisational, time‑management, and interpersonal skills.
* Excellent communication and customer‑service approach.
* Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively in a team setting.
* Demonstrated computer literacy with experience using dealership management systems.
* Commitment to safety, compliance, and professional standards.
