Recruitment Support Officer (Clerk Grade 3/4) | Parramatta (Hybrid – Mon & Tue in office)
Join the NSW Department of Education and help shape the future of public education This is your chance to be part of the engine room of School Recruitment, keeping processes moving, supporting principals, and making sure the right teachers are in the right classrooms. You'll work with great people, use smart systems, and play a vital role in reducing admin so schools can focus on students.
What you'll do:
* Be the go-to support for school recruitment, providing admin services like data entry, record creation, and report preparation.
* Keep recruitment processes on track - accurately managing records and ensuring compliance with policies.
* Use technology systems to streamline recruitment and help schools get the staff they need.
* Work collaboratively with your team to solve problems and improve the way we deliver for schools.
What we're looking for:
* Organised, detail-focused, and comfortable working with high volumes of data.
* Tech-savvy and quick to learn new systems and processes.
* Great communicator who delivers excellent customer service.
* A team player with experience in HR, recruitment, or admin who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
* Passion for public education and supporting schools.
Role details:
Location: Parramatta (hybrid – must work in office Monday & Tuesday)
Hours: Full-time, standard business hours between 8:30am and 5:00pm
Employment type: Temporary 6-month contract, with possible extension. Contract commencing 2 February 2026.
