The Position
A well-established construction organisation is seeking an experienced Payroll and Accounts Officer to join their team on a full-time basis. This is a hands‐on role owning payroll and supporting accounts, and works closely with senior management to ensure the smooth financial and administrative operation of the business.

Key Responsibilities
* End-to-end processing of weekly payroll for salaried employees and site-based work workforce (approx 80 employees).
* Interpret and work with EBAs and Awards within MYOB.
* Manage all statutory lodgements, compliance and reporting obligations.
* Accounts payable and accounts receivable management, ensuring accurate processing and approvals.
* Month-end journals, general ledger reconciliations, and preparation of management reports.
* Ad hoc support for the broader team and a process improvement mindset.
Skills & Experience
* Proven experience in payroll (experience within the construction or project-based environment is highly regarded).
* Knowledge of MYOB.
* High attention to detail and a strong focus on accuracy and compliance.
* Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet strict deadlines.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Proactive, adaptable, and solutions-focused approach.
