**Job Description:**
Fruit Farm Worker plays a vital role in the cultivation of banana and avocado crops. This position involves performing routine tasks as directed to assist in the growth and harvesting of these crops.
**Required Skills and Qualifications:**
As a Fruit Farm Worker, you should hold at least 1-year of relevant work experience. You will be required to meet with farm management to receive assigned duties, collect and prepare equipment for daily use, transport harvested fruit to the packing shed, hang, dehand, and wash bananas, cluster, grade, sort, and pack bananas, sort, grade, and pack fruit, weigh, stack, strap, and label produce for storage and distribution, maintain and repair irrigation lines and sprinklers, operate farm equipment and machinery to complete tasks such as slashing, application of fertilisers, herbicides, and pesticides, clean, sterilise, and maintain equipment and machinery, use appropriate personal protective equipment for handling and mixing chemicals, and report completed tasks to the farm management.
Additional duties may be required from time to time based on the needs of the business.
**Benefits:**
