About The Role
We are seeking an experienced Netball Club Coach to provide professional coaching and leadership to our players, fostering a positive and competitive team environment. The role is casual, with hours on Friday mornings, Tuesday evenings, and Saturdays during term time.
Responsibilities
* Provide professional coaching and leadership to players.
* Foster a positive and competitive team environment.
* Deliver training sessions on Friday mornings and manage matches on Tuesday evenings or Saturdays.
* Collaborate with the school community, including players, parents and staff.
Qualifications
* Experience in netball as a coach (desirable) or player (essential).
* Valid Employee Working with Children Check (if aged 18 years or older).
* Foundation Netball Coaching Qualification from Netball Australia or higher.
* Understanding of and commitment to implementing the St Catherine's coaching style and the Netball Australia Skills Development framework.
* Availability for training sessions in Toorak, 6.45am‐8am on Friday mornings during term time.
* Availability for matches in Malvern East on Tuesday evenings and/or Saturdays during term time.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to relate well to teenage girls, parents and colleagues.
* Ability to work and contribute to a team situation and to be proactive and take initiative.
