Occupational Rehabilitation Consultant Job
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate professional to join our team as an Occupational Rehabilitation Consultant.
About the Role
This is a diverse role that requires flexibility, autonomy, and strong communication skills. As an Occupational Rehabilitation Consultant, you will work with clients who have physical or psychological conditions, providing support to help them achieve return to health and return to work outcomes.
* You will be responsible for case management, applying your clinical knowledge to improve return to work outcomes, and working collaboratively with injured workers, employers, and medical professionals.
* Your duties will include assessing clients, developing and implementing injury prevention and workplace education programs, and assisting clients in achieving their goals.
Key Responsibilities
As an Occupational Rehabilitation Consultant, you will:
1. Manage client caseloads, prioritizing tasks and ensuring timely completion of assessments and interventions.
2. Develop and implement individualized plans to support clients in achieving their return to work goals.
3. Collaborate with healthcare professionals, employers, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and coordination of care.
4. Maintain accurate records and reports, adhering to industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Tertiary qualifications in Nursing or Social Work, with registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) or the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW).
* Previous experience working in occupational rehabilitation or a related field, preferably with a focus on case management and clinical practice.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and external partners.
* A strong understanding of occupational health and safety principles, as well as current legislation and regulations relevant to the sector.
