CG on Beck is a local café at the centre of our Carlyle Gardens Retirement Village community, and we’re looking for a friendly Café All-Rounder to join our small, supportive team.
This role is perfect for someone who enjoys variety, connection, and the simple satisfaction of a job well done. No two days are the same, and you’ll be genuinely appreciated for the work you do.
Our opening hours in a normal week would be 9am-3pm, Monday to Friday with future plans to include a few nights a week for dinner and bar service. An overview of your day will include but not limited to:
* Supporting day-to-day café operations across front and back of house
* Preparing food and drinks
* Providing warm, genuine customer service
* Keeping the café clean, organised, and running smoothly
* Being part of a close-knit team that looks out for one another

What makes a difference for us?

* Comfortable working both independently and as part of a small team
* Previous café or hospitality experience is a bonus, but not essential
* RSA and Food Handling certificates desired, but can be obtained
* A genuine people-person who enjoys a welcoming, community-focused space
* Confidence to satisfy the relevant probity checks required by legislation or policies.
