Our showroom is located in Malaga Western Australia with on-site financing, consignment programs, and a diverse range of used vehicles for purchase. The Role
We are seeking an experienced, hands-on General Manager to lead our operation. You'll be responsible for overall performance, including buying cars, consignment, reconditioning and the end-to-end customer experience. You will oversee sales, admin, reconditioning, and staffing across the business as well as drive profitability, and ensure compliance with Australian and WA regulations.
Responsibilities
* Oversee intake, pricing, reconditioning, detailing, and staging for sale.
* Coordinate showroom displays; optimise layout for flow and security.
* Coordinate inspections, reconditioning, and quality-control processes.
* Assist the used car manager by overseeing the sales team with clear KPIs, coaching, and performance reviews.
* Assist to recruit, train, and develop staff across sales and administration.
* Foster an inclusive, compliant, and safety-focused culture.
* Ensure accurate, compliant vehicle descriptions, pricing and advertising.
What You'll Bring
* Proven experience as a General Manager or Senior Leader in a used-car operation.
* Strong track record in vehicle purchasing.
* Deep knowledge of Australian consumer law (ACL), motor vehicle trading regulations, and WA advertising rules.
* Demonstrated ability to manage multi-disciplinary teams (sales, admin and reconditioning).
* Excellent negotiation, communication, and customer-service skills.
* Ability to lead with integrity, foster a safety-first culture, and make data-driven decisions.
