About the Role
Swinburne University is seeking a dynamic leader to join our Education, Experience & Employability division as Associate Director, Education Quality.

In this pivotal role, you’ll lead the operational delivery of academic quality assurance frameworks, champion continuous improvement in curriculum design, and empower academic staff to enhance student learning and engagement. Reporting to the Director, Education Quality, you’ll coordinate internal review cycles, ensure compliance with national standards, and foster strategic collaboration across academic and professional teams.

We’re looking for someone with substantial experience in academic quality assurance, a deep understanding of TEQSA’s regulatory framework, and exceptional leadership, communication, and data literacy skills. About You
To be suitable for this role you will need to have experience in the below key accountabilities:
· Substantial experience in academic quality assurance, curriculum review, or program evaluation within a higher education, regulatory or similar setting
· Strong understanding of, and experience working with, the Higher Education Standards Framework (2021) and TEQSA’s risk-based regulatory approach.
· Demonstrated ability to lead projects and support stakeholders through change and improvement initiatives.
· Strong leadership, collaboration and mentoring skills with the ability to manage staff and cross-functional teams.
· Excellent written communication, including reporting, briefing, and policy development.

Qualifications
· A postgraduate qualification in education, higher education policy, curriculum and assessment, or a related field.
