About the Role
We’re seeking an experienced Service Technician to join our Canberra team. You’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality IT deployment projects on time and within budget, while building strong client relationships. This casual position offers the potential to transition to full-time based on performance and workload.
Key Responsibilities
* Install and decommission computers and associated IT equipment
* Perform pre-deployment services (SOE imaging, BIOS configuration, asset tagging, logistics)
* Assist with planning and execution of deployment projects
* Provide floor walk support and troubleshoot issues
* Lead small teams when required
* Complete accurate reporting, including customer sign-off and asset reports
* Maintain high standards of WH&S and quality compliance
Location: Canberra-based role, our warehouse is located in Queanbeyan (NSW 2620).
Travel: Metro, regional, and remote work may be required, including after-hours and weekends.
What We’re Looking For
* Experience in IT hardware refresh projects
* Strong customer service and communication skills
* Ability to manage priorities and lead small teams
* WH&S awareness and physical fitness
* Full driver’s licence (light truck licence highly regarded)
* Australian citizenship (Defence clearance desirable)
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and desktop hardware/software installation
Qualifications
* IT certification (A+, Cert IV, Diploma or similar)
* Previous experience in desktop IT projects
