About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Childcare Educator to join our team, who will support in the planning and delivery of engaging activities that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development in children aged 0-5 years.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans, incorporating art, music, movement, and outdoor play.
* Establish a positive and inclusive learning culture that encourages teamwork, respect for diversity, and open communication.
* Monitor and assess child progress, communicating effectively with parents and colleagues about individual needs and achievements.
* Maintain a clean, safe, and organized room environment, managing materials and supplies efficiently.
* Ensure the well-being and safety of all children at all times, adhering to established policies and procedures.
Requirements
* Hold a minimum ACECQA approved Certificate 3 or Diploma Qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent) or working towards Diploma.
* Demonstrate understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS).
* Proven experience within an Early Childhood service, working with children aged 0-5 years.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* A current Working with Children Check.
* First Aid certification.
* Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
* Commitment to ongoing professional development.
