Foundation Model Enhancement Specialist
Binance seeks a Research Scientist/Engineer to advance the reasoning and planning capabilities of large foundation models. This role involves enhancing model performance across the development lifecycle, including data acquisition, supervised fine-tuning, reward modelling, and reinforcement learning.
The ideal candidate will synthesise large-scale datasets through rewriting, augmentation, and generation techniques to strengthen foundation models.
Responsibilities:
* Designing, developing, and optimising data processing and retrieval pipelines for enterprise-level generative tasks and model training applications
* Collaborating with infrastructure and application teams to integrate pipelines into production systems, ensuring scalability, reliability, and measurable business impact
* Participating in LLM training and RAG system, applying techniques such as pre-training, SFT, and reinforcement learning to retrieval and generation tasks
Qualifications and Skills:
* Strong background in machine learning, computer science, and software engineering
* Experience with large-scale data processing and retrieval pipelines
* Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++
* Familiarity with deep learning frameworks and libraries such as TensorFlow or PyTorch
* Good understanding of cloud computing platforms and containerisation
