About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and process-driven Payroll Professional to join our team at our Adelaide office.
You will be part of a vibrant group that provides support services to our clubs across Australia and New Zealand.
Your key responsibilities include:
* Maintaining and administering time and attendance systems;
* Fortnightly end-to-end payroll processing and record maintenance;
* Month-end reporting, including superannuation, payroll tax, PAYG withholding and clearing account reconciliations;
* Ongoing liaison with employees and management;
* Managing employee onboarding and maintaining electronic personnel files;
* Working closely with the Group People & Culture Manager to ensure timely onboarding/offboarding of employees; and
* Assisting with payroll process improvement projects.
About You
To succeed in this role, you will need:
* 5+ years' experience in payroll;
* Experience with time and attendance systems;
* Ability to interpret award conditions;
* Some exposure to Human Resource administration;
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel;
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills; and
* Attention to detail and a desire to improve processes.
