About the Role
WorkPac is seeking motivated candidates to commence as Trade Assistants with the opportunity to transition into a Boilermaker Apprenticeship based in Welshpool. This is a full‐time, ongoing role working Monday to Friday. The initial period will involve hands‐on labouring and yard duties before progressing into a structured apprenticeship.
What You Will Be Doing
* Assist with general labouring, basic welding, and supporting tradespeople.
* Tack welding reinforcement bars.
* Prepare materials.
* Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
* Assist in the manufacturing process.
What You Will Need
* Basic MIG welding experience (desirable).
* Willingness to undertake a Boilermaker Apprenticeship.
* Ability to perform manual labour and work in a yard environment.
* Strong commitment to workplace safety.
* Reliable and punctual with a good work ethic.
* Ability to follow instructions and work within a team.
* Previous experience in manufacturing or precast (advantageous).
* Driver's licence and reliable transport (preferred).
* Ability to pass a pre‐employment medical.
* Ability to pass a Drug and Alcohol Screen (DAS).
* Monday to Friday roster – full time hours.
