What you'll be doing
Providing a safe and secure environment for staff, patients and visitors, and assisting clinical staff in the care and comfort of patients
About You
You are a highly capable and fully accredited security professional who holds a current Class 1A Security Licence issued by the NSW Security Licensing & Enforcement Directorate (SLED), a current Senior First Aid Certificate, and a valid driver’s licence. You operate under the MNCLHD Master Licence 410572298, demonstrating your compliance with regulatory and organisational standards.
You bring proven expertise in managing aggressive incidents, challenging behaviours, and responding swiftly and appropriately to duress situations. Your calm, controlled approach ensures safety and stability in high‑pressure environments.
You demonstrate strong flexibility in taking direction from supervisors and thrive as part of a multi‑disciplinary team, contributing to a cohesive and effective workplace. Your communication skills enable you to interact professionally with staff at all levels, as well as patients, clients, and members of the public, ensuring clarity, respect, and confidence in every interaction.
You have a solid understanding of environmental cleaning requirements and consistently apply work health and safety principles, including safe manual handling and infection control practices. Your commitment to safety and compliance supports a secure and hygienic environment for all.
You are fully prepared to participate in a 7‑day rotating roster, including weekends, public holidays, school holidays, and morning, afternoon, and night shifts. Your reliability and adaptability make you a dependable member of any operational team.
You also possess the understanding and willingness to work within a morgue environment, demonstrating professionalism, emotional resilience, and respect for sensitive and specialised settings.

Salary will be accordance with NSW Health State Awards for the advertised classification/s. These awards are available at http://www.health.nsw.gov.au/careers/conditions/pages/default.aspx.
