About the Role
Reporting to a Senior Coordinator, you will manage the end-to-end delivery of outreach initiatives designed to increase university participation among students from low socio-economic and underrepresented communities. You will be the key point of contact for schools, teachers, student mentors and secondary school participants, ensuring programs are delivered effectively and professionally.
Key responsibilities include:
* Delivering outreach activities that build aspiration and readiness for higher education
* Coordinating school engagement and mentoring programs
* Planning and delivering presentations and workshops in schools and on campus
* Supporting and training student mentors and mentor leaders
* Managing program administration, reporting and data collection
* Analysing program evaluations and identifying opportunities for improvement
* Maintaining strong stakeholder relationships with schools and community partners
Travel to schools and other campuses will be required.
About You
You are organised, proactive and confident working with a range of stakeholders in educational environments.
You will demonstrate:
* Relevant qualifications and/or experience in project or program coordination
* Experience working with schools or within the Australian education sectorUnderstanding of challenges faced by under-represented/low SES student groups
* Strong verbal & written communication and presentation skills
* Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
* Experience collecting and analysing data to support reporting and program improvement
* Strong administrative and Microsoft Office skills
Essential Requirements
* Current Employee Working with Children Check
* Valid Australian Driver's Licence
* Ability to travel as required
* Flexibility during peak delivery periods
