Music Production Instructor Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled music production professional to lead our new VET stream in Music Production within the Diploma of Music.
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a multi-skilled and experienced practitioner to join our team as a music production instructor. The successful candidate will have the capacity to lead, teach, and manage multiple specialised units within this new stream.
Key Responsibilities
* Teach creating/composing original music and/or songs in a range of musical genres and styles.
* Deliver music production techniques (including recording, mixing, editing, mastering as well as sampling, mixing, and beat-making).
* Fluency with a range of music software (including recording and editing suites, digital audio workstations, and music notation programs).
* Attract and inspire students through effective teaching and communication skills.
Requirements
* Certificate IV in workplace training and assessment.
* Evidence of an established professional profile in music production, songwriting, and creating original music.
* Ability to teach in a tertiary environment and design VET curriculum.
* High level of administrative and organisation skills.
