What You\'ll Be Doing 
- Deliver timely, accurate, and relevant financial information to facilitate effective management decision-making. 
- Provide professional advice on financial performance, budgets, forecasts, and business cases. 
- Provide accurate and timely budgeting, forecasting and cost data reports. 
- Identify opportunities for savings through workforce management, procurement, and improved business practices. 
- Lead and support Finance Managers across JHH, overseeing whole-of-hospital financial reporting and strategic development. 
- Manage the John Hunter Hospital Coding Unit Manager and provide professional direction across finance functions. 
- Actively contribute to the JHH Executive Team, supporting strategic planning and organisational development. 
About You 
- Relevant tertiary qualifications and professional accounting membership (or working towards). 
- Demonstrated expertise in health policy, planning, and financial analysis. 
- Strong skills in activity and budget management, with the ability to simplify complex financial issues into actionable advice. 
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with proven ability to work collaboratively with clinicians, frontline managers, and executives. 
- Experience analysing financial statements, managing variances, and delivering accurate projections. 
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and financial systems.
