Overview
As a Business Support Officer, you’ll play a vital role in keeping our head office running smoothly and supporting our offices. You’ll be the first point of contact for enquiries and visitors, while also assisting our leadership team with administration and operational support. This is a varied role that requires strong organisational skills, excellent communication, and a proactive approach.
28 hours a week - must be able to work Wednesday, Thursday and Friday
Responsibilities
- Be the welcoming first point of contact for visitors and enquiries
- Provide administration support to the Business Operations Manager, Executive Operations Manager, and CEO
- Coordinate office supplies, equipment, venue bookings, travel, and catering
- Support staff onboarding, record-keeping, and compliance requirements
- Assist with invoices, payments, and reconciliations
- Coordinate building and vehicle maintenance, repairs, and safety records
- Support the onboarding of new sub-contractors, including collecting necessary documentation, verifying credentials, and completing registration processes
- Help ensure smooth and efficient office operations across all MCCI locations
About You
- Highly organised with excellent time management skills
- Confident juggling competing priorities and solving problems on the go
- A strong communicator who enjoys working with people from diverse backgrounds
- Detail-oriented with positive IT skills (Microsoft Office and databases)
- Experienced in administration (at least 3 years in a similar role)
