About the role
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Duty Manager to join the team at the Logan Village Hotel, part of the McGuire Hotels' group. As Duty Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of this thriving hospitality establishment. This is a full-time role based in the Southern Suburbs & Logan area of Brisbane, Queensland.
What you'll be doing
* Oversee and coordinate the daily operations of the hotel, including reception, concierge, and guest services
* Manage and supervise the front-of-house team, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure exceptional customer service
* Respond to customer inquiries and concerns, resolving issues promptly and professionally
* Maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and health and safety throughout the hotel
* Assist with financial management tasks, such as cash handling, reporting, and budget monitoring
* Collaborate with other departmental managers to ensure a cohesive and integrated approach to hotel operations
* Contribute to the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and best practices
What we're looking for
* Proven track record of successfully managing hotel operations, including front-of-house and team leadership
* Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to think on your feet and respond effectively to challenging situations
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and work collaboratively with a diverse range of stakeholders
* Passion for delivering exceptional customer service and creating a positive customer experience
* Qualifications in Hospitality Management or a related field would be highly regarded
