This role will be responsible for supporting the Project Manager and project team in delivering projects on scope, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards as they consolodate existing sites into one.
The Project Engineer will be involved in all phases of project management, including planning, monitoring, and controlling activities, while ensuring a successful handover to the end user.
* Assist the Project Manager or Senior Project Manager with planning, design, and execution of projects
* Contribute to project plans and schedules, ensuring compliance with scope, time, budget, and quality requirements
* Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and recommend corrective actions
* Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and contractors to ensure deliverables are achieved
* Support validation and qualification activities as required
* Maintain accurate documentation and project reporting
* Ensure adherence to GMP standards and other compliance requirements.
* 400 pieces of equipment to be moved - coordinate having the vendor come in and recalibrate machines
Profile
* Tertiary qualifications in Engineering or Science (required).
* Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar project engineering role.
* Strong understanding of project management principles across scope, budget, and time.
* Ability to comprehend instructions and work autonomously to meet requirements.
* Initiative-driven and quick to learn new processes and systems.
* Experience in planning and vendor management.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to provide direction and follow-up.
* Knowledge of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice).
* Validation and qualification experience is essential
