About the Role
Mirboo North Secondary College is a small rural college established in 1955, emphasizing partnerships between students, staff, parents, and the local community.

Our curriculum program from Years 7-10 helps students develop skills for transitioning to senior secondary certificate pathways. We offer VCE and VM pathways for Year 11 and 12 students, along with Vocational and Educational Training (VET) options.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage the implementation of school priorities, teaching literacy and numeracy skills across the curriculum.
* Plan and implement high-impact teaching strategies responding to student learning needs.
* Monitor and assess student learning at a class, cohort, or whole-school level, leading improvement initiatives.
* Support colleagues in using data to inform teaching practice and provide feedback on student learning growth and achievement.
* Model behaviors and attitudes consistent with Department values, contributing to whole-school professional learning.
This role requires highly skilled classroom practitioners who can undertake leadership and management roles commensurate with their salary range.
