The role of Engine Watchkeeper is crucial in maintaining the operational efficiency of a ship's engine and mechanical systems.
Key duties include:
* Maintaining propulsion, auxiliary, and ancillary equipment
* Performing routine inspections to ensure adherence to PMS requirements
To be successful in this position, candidates must have relevant experience in a related field, including at least 36 weeks of sea service on vessels with propulsion power ≥750 kilowatts. A Certificate of Safety Training (STCW) and other certifications are highly desirable.
