Business Development Manager
to help us accelerate our growth across Australia's most important short-term rental markets -
Brisbane, Gold Coast, Sydney, and Melbourne
.
You'll play a critical role in driving our market expansion by identifying, qualifying, and securing new clients. Through prospecting, local marketing, relationship-building, and exceptional client engagement, you'll help more homeowners discover the benefits of Hometime's professional short-term rental management services.

What You'll Do
Drive Market Growth:
Build and execute local business development strategies to expand Hometime's footprint across key metro and coastal markets.
Prospect & Secure New Clients:
Generate new business through local outreach, events, and referral networks, including real estate professionals, mortgage brokers, and buyer's agents.
Qualify & Convert Leads:
Respond to inbound inquiries from prospective clients, qualify their properties, and convert leads into active listings.
Pitch & Present:
Conduct virtual and in-person meetings to present Hometime's services, deliver earnings appraisals, and prepare tailored management proposals.
Nurture Relationships:
Build long-term relationships with homeowners, investors, and referral partners to drive sustained growth.
Collaborate with Local Teams:
Work closely with our local Hosts and Marketing team to align efforts and ensure a seamless onboarding experience for new clients.
Pipeline Management:
Maintain an active pipeline using Hometime's CRM (HubSpot), ensuring timely follow-up and accurate forecasting.
Market Intelligence:
The Ideal Candidate
2+ years of experience in business development, real estate, or B2C/B2B sales.
Proven ability to generate and close leads through proactive outreach and relationship management.
Confident communicator with strong presentation and negotiation skills.
Organised and self-driven with the ability to manage multiple markets and priorities.
Familiarity with the short-term rental, property management, or hospitality industry is an advantage.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
Is working towards or holding the relevant real estate qualifications.
Based in Brisbane, Gold Coast, Sydney, or Melbourne.
Must have a car (car allowance will be offered).
