About the Role
As a Trainee Community Worker, you will be responsible for providing domestic assistance, socialisation, meal preparation, personal care, and other essential services to support the daily lifestyle of our clients. You will work closely with our experienced team members to deliver high-quality care and make a real difference in the lives of our clients.
No experience or qualifications are required, as we provide full on-the-job training and support. You will be partnered with a workplace buddy/mentor who will guide you throughout your traineeship and general employment.
Responsibilities
* Domestic assistance (cleaning)
* Socialisation
* Meal preparation
* Personal Care (showering, dressing, grooming)
* Bed making, room tidying up
Requirements
* A great attitude and willingness to learn and work
* Reliability and ability to pass a National Police Check
* TAS Driver's licence, reliable vehicle, and insurance
* Permanent Resident, NZ or Australian Citizen
* Clear communication skills
* Desire to care for and help the elderly

* Paid hourly rate starting from $23.45 (part-time)
* All training is paid for, including attending training days
The shifts are Monday through Friday, between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m, with flexibility to fit within your hours. Shift durations vary, from 1 hour to 4 hours, and we work with you to build a full day of work.
